It is important to us that our children learn to grow into active responsible adults. Involvement in fundraising activities is motivating and fun for young children and we actively support many charities throughout the school calendar giving our pupils the opportunity to understand about important issues affecting our world. We are very proud, and lucky, to have a generous school community and we hope the resulting impact of this is that all our children will grow up to feel good about fundraising.

Children In Need – 16th November 2018
Our School Parliament chose to hold a ‘Pudsey PJ Day and Bake Off’ to raise money for Children In Need. We had a fun day dressed in our pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers and everyone donated £1. We had lots of entries for the Bake Off and the School Parliament awarded 3 prizes – 1st, 2nd and 3rd, to the winning cakes. After school they held a Cake Sale to raise as much money as possible! All the cakes were delicious and every single last piece was sold. Well done to our School Parliament and Miss Kimpton for organising a great day!
Total amount raised £397.24

Red, White and Blue Day – 5th October 2018
We all dressed up in Red, White and/or Blue outfits and donated £1 to charity. Red, White & Blue Day is a national fundraising campaign that raises money in support of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, and The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity. Each of these three charities is responsible for the welfare of soldiers, sailors and airmen and their families and is a cause close to the hearts of many families from our school.
Total amount raised £221.25

Macmillan Coffee Event – 28th September 2018
Our generous families donated lots of cakes and pies to sell and we all enjoyed a Coffee & Cake Afternoon to raise money for this fantastic cause. Macmillan is an event that we support every year and is a wonderful opportunity for our families to come together early at the start of the year for a catch up with each other and our team.
Total amount raised £208.96
