Admissions
60 school children can be admitted each academic year.
Veritas is a two form entry school with a capacity of 420.
Details of our Admissions Policy is available below and also from the school office. In accordance with the Academy’s policy, priority is given to looked after and previously looked after children, followed by those children who have older siblings at the school. Priority is then given in order of distance from the school measured in a straight line. Prospective parents are offered a visiting day in the term prior to the school year in which a pupil starts full time education.

In-Year Admissions
To apply for a school place mid-year, you will need to complete and submit and in-year transfer form. Children moving from local schools must have Section 4 of this completed by their current Headteacher before it is submitted, otherwise this will delay your application.
Once a place has been offered you will be invited to visit with your child to take a tour of the school and meet with your child's class teacher to ask any questions you might have regarding your child’s education. You will also receive an online link to fill in your child's admission form which will need to be completed before a start date is agreed and confirmed.

Reception Admissions (Normal Point of Entry)
All applications for Reception places are made through Staffordshire County Council who apply our admissions criteria to all applications and notify parents directly of allocated places.
Online applications are the preferred method of making a preference for schools at the normal age of entry. Parents who apply online are able to receive email notification of their school place on the national offer day, rather than through the post.
Applications are open between 1 November and 15 January each year. Offers of places are made directly by the local authority on National Offer Day in April.

Nursery Admissions
Our Nursery accepts children from the term following their 3rd birthday.
You can apply directly to the school by completing our Application Form below and returning to the school office or email to [email protected].
At the beginning of each new term we can admit another cohort, places permitting. We offer parents an opportunity to attend an Open Evening ahead of each admission cohort to view our facilities and meet with the Early Years team.
Veritas Nursery is open Term Time only from 8.45am to 3.30pm.
